Nah won't happen. The War Rapport has come out today with the talking points. Thorne got the start for Game 1 because Robby is battling an injury. Their words not mine. Also he might get some snaps but the oblique can affect throwing more then running. Their words not mine.
We need 50-60 players that will really contribute to winning. That will define the season. We have piled on the QBs way to much over the past decade. Lets let the games play out.

With all the work Freeze has put in, and all the progress that's been made so far, trotting Robby Ashford out at QB would have many second guessing

And what if he trots out and looks great? We’ve all been screaming for a QB developing staff. Well, we supposedly have 2 of the best in the business.

Until I see Thorne in Jordan-Hare, I believe we have a 1a 1b
with each having deep skillsets..
I am tickled with how Coach Freeze was decisive with his choice - just dont forget that choice is also said to include getting Robby on the field
Love this coaching staff and what they bring to these players re development and preparation; a change from Byron Haskins and his staff to be sure

I watched a guy put up 400 yards on freaking LSU last year - he sucks because a WR let a safety steal his manhood and rip the ball out of his hands to lose the game

I like Robby, hope he plays great. Nothing he has done in his career would make anyone think he's a good QB in the sense of a well rounded QB. He's a game changer running the football but that can be a game changer either way he could fumble 3 times in a game or score 3 TDs in a game.
