I see that those South Carolina beat downs by UGA are still smarting. And pretty bad judging from your comments.
FYI SCs drunken fans - the women too - use language that would embarrass a sailor. And as for anyone saying “welcome to SC” I’m still waiting and I haven’t missed a UGA/ SC game in decades. And I’m positive it must take days and a convoy of semis to haul all the trash from your ugly stadium area after SC games. It’s one of the worst. And doesn’t anyone ever empty the trash cans in the restrooms in Williams Brice? Ugh! It’s nasty looking.

It’s the same phenomenon with Auburn fans claiming mistreatment in Athens since the blackout game in 2007. That’s not coincidental. Their team has been getting their teeth kicked in every time since.

For the most part, how you act at while a visitor at another campus will determine how you are treated. It is normal to get have some banter back and forth. Generally speaking tailgate folks are friendly and welcoming. I would say 95%+ fans are congenial and enjoy good conversation, fellowship, having a drink together, food etc.
But there is always going to be a few bad apples everywhere that will be a-holes, arrogant, rude, obnoxious and ruin what should be an enjoyable time for fans win or lose.

I've always stated that Auburn fans have been the most welcoming of any SEC fanbase so far. Had a blast there in 2010.

In '82 I saw Alabama fans stand, clap & cheer for a Vanderbilt team leaving the field after losing by a field goal to Bama in Tuscaloosa.
Even in beat downs I've never seen Bama fans act out.
