This whole thing by Oher is a patently obvious money grab. Its pathetic. If you were being taken advantage of why are you waiting this long to say anything? The financial records can easily clear this up.

Looks like Oher was right in that his portrayal in the movie was incorrect because they made him out to be a nice guy.

Maybe this is why the family thought he can't be in charge of himself

Hard to feel for either side.

A lot of things can be true.
1. Oher is out of money and looking to drum up sales of his book
2. The family wouldn’t have taken him in if he looked like Jonah Hill in Superbad
3. The movie took liberties with the facts to tell a story

Yep, guy is a major piece of shite, but it’s also hard to feel bad for these families that chase clout by getting involved with hood rat morons. When you own 150 Taco Bell’s and KFC’s you should probably just go enjoy your life instead of obsessing over being a college football insider and housing some random arse kid to accomplish that

This was a means to an end. He was anything but random.

Didn’t know they were Newman grads. All kinds of odd connections in this saga.

This is all a sad mess.
The Tuohy family didn't make that kid, but they damn sure gave him things he would not have had without their help.

This was always going to be a very easy case to get to the bottom of. Receipts should be readily available to prove or disprove Michael Oher's claims.

Getting married might have changed his outlook. Or she may have changed his way of thinking. I’ve seen it happen.

That theory looks like a non-starter because he and his wife have been together 17 years (met in college) and married just last year.
Also odd coincidence is that his wife appears to also be from New Orleans.

two idiots on Arkansas radio "reported on" this story yesterday, and completely took conjecture as fact in how they presented it, Oher was the "victim" in regard to everything they said, and the family were the bad guys
I hope they get their asses sued

Another consideration on Oher is that he could be beginning to show signs of post-traumatic encephalopathy, he had multiple concussions in his career. Looking at some of the other players who went sideways w/ this, he'd be about the right age.

I mean it's obvious to anyone that this arrangement wasn't out of the niceness of the Touhys hearts. It was for Freeze to get a great HS OL and Ole Miss to get a great OL.
As for now, this also obviously a big money grab to wait this long. But don't think that the initial stance isn't actually true.
