Washington OG transfer Nate Kalepo is visiting this weekend.
Started every game at guard for Washington this season (1 start at LG, the rest at RG).
ETA: Sounds like BJ Green will be on campus too

At the very least he’s decent depth pickup that has played both corner and safety in the SEC. He’s also from oxford so it’s nice having a hometown kid play here.

Boys, this is all setting up like the baseball team two years ago. A very veteran team that will be older than the competition. Maybe it will unfold the same.

I remember 2016 when we were in on Nigel Knott, Shy Carter and had an outside shot at Mayden. Bama took all of them on NSD. They didn’t even really want Nigel they just wanted to pull a UA All American out of Madison as a middle finger to us for muddying up the Terrell Lewis recruitment. We were left with Anderson , Jones and Hartsfield. Nowhere near addressing the needs we had in the secondary.
Amos , Walker , Turnage , Yam , Key and Moore. Assuming we keep them all which is no guarantee, this is the most secondary talent we have ever brought to Oxford in a single class. Not to mention the young guys like White , Banks , Beavers and Robinson III. Don’t freak out when secondary players start leaving after the Spring game. The ones that remain are going to be really really legit. Here’s to hoping we can close strong with more OL and DL but I don’t see any reason to ever doubt this staff on the recruiting front.

Seeing and hearing some chatter regarding Oatis to the portal and OM being the favorite. Hopefully that rumor sprouts legs.

Pete met with him a few days ago and Oatis informed the bama staff he’s hitting the transfer portal soon. You are correct
