I thought the court ruling was for 2 free transfers.

Bentley and Judkins were a little too similar for my liking. Personally I want a bigger back that can knock linebackers on their tail and wear them down. Bentley is incredibly elusive and quick but not a bruiser. Give me a 6’ 225 demon with decent speed and incredible power to wear down defenses so Bentley can come in and fly past them

Judkins didn't give the reliable up the middle guaranteed 2-3 yards on 3rd down. He was more apt to be stopped for a loss or no gain. He only succeeded when the field was stretched out. Give me a Deuce McAlister type RB any day that nobody can stop from getting the guaranteed short yards. He also broke more long runs than Judkins ever has.

Judkins got 75% of his rushing yards after contact. It's silly to try and spin it as not a loss. It's certainly not program crushing, but I was really hoping things would work out for one more year.

We have a great passing game and Judkins no doubt benefited from that but we are 57/43% run/pass and need at least two quality backs.

Ole Miss Rushing Under Kiffin

2023: 39th 2292 yards (Judkins Bentley)
2022: 3rd 3336 yards (Evans Judkins)
2021: 12th 2829 yards (Ealy Snoop)
2020: 26th 2106 yards (Ealy Snoop)

2023 was our lowest ranked rushing offense under Kiffin and the lowest amount of rushing yards per game (we played 3 fewer games in 2020). Q was great but Kiffin always has a solid rushing attack regardless of who is running the ball.

Honestly think we can be more productive running the ball with a similar back who isn't a cancer to the team.

The rumors started months ago because the money negotiations probably started months ago. And his stats didn’t look great to start the year

First off the Collective doesn’t entertain NIL negotiations during the season. Secondly it was back in the summer I first heard posts in this and it took off around the GaTech and Tulane game. Had one poster on Rivals say there was a fight in the locker room due to him. Thirdly you do not sign a contract after 3 different asks and then turn around and ask to renegotiate it within 2 weeks. I think he has talent but the RB position, especially in Kiffin’s offense, is not a deal breaker. Hope he finds a home that gives him all he wants and show cases his skills but glad he is gone!

I think the NCAA statement said it's now immediate eligibility for multiple transfers.

Though Jam could also just be a grad transfer at this point

It’s pretty dumb to change offensive systems in your money year. Would be ironic if he goes to a situation that is worse off for his NFL prospects over a couple hundred grand.

Hey Pete, any truth around the Jase McClellan rumors, or just shite on a wall?

Could grab their center too, if he can play guard. Sure don’t want him snapping the ball

Very strong rumors on the other boards that it’s either him or hunter from Auburn. Either would be yuge.

LINK
Hope that link works, I'm not real good at technical stuff. It shows Williams leaving Judkins laying in the peach bowl. As good as Judkins is, it's obvious he was a cancer on the team

I know it may sound weird but I actually feel good about this change. Not trying to be a complete homer but I didn't like our ground game at all this year outside of Bentley. I told my wife several times through the season that Bentley should be starting.

I take Jarquez Hunter in a heartbeat. He’s a hell of a back. And was pretty much auburns entire offense this past season.

They are going after Jase and Jarquez. As of right now it’s just tampering but word around the beat is Jase wants out because no one respects the pass due to Milroe. Jase knows how much better it would be for him if he came here. As of right now it’s just tampering, again. Same with how the NC OL was when I said it on here. At that point it was maybe/probably with him but it looks like now with NC OL that’s switching to he’s coming. These things happen fast. They’re gonna have their pick. Lots of options right now but I would like Jase the most if he can stay healthy. There’s split feeling between the staff right now on if Jase or Jarquez would be better which will have to get worked out within the coming days

Okay I am going to vent about the Sprite. Are 75% of that board completely void of brainpower? Anytime something comes up they want to swap player positions thinking that will solve the issue. Last month somebody suggested we swap Z Harris to the OL and today somebody suggested we switch 5* LBer S. Perkins to running back with the logic he played it in HS. I mean these morons think just because you are a great athlete all around you can swap positions and be all SEC caliber within a year while depleting another rather important position group. Vent over!

The Spirit is a bunch of 50-60 year old men who have the mindset of “we played iron man football back in my day! They can do it now too!”

And it’s fricking mind numbingly stupid. I fricking HAAAAAATE casual fans that try to talk like they know what they’re talking about. I had a buddy freaking out about Judkins leaving saying dumb shite like “he is the reason we won 11 games! He single handedly beat LSU and Texas A&M!!” He also said we don’t need to recruit the portal. We just need to get Mississippi guys and we will dominate. I get irritated talking with him about Ole Miss football because he has no fricking clue what he’s talking about. Just like the morons on the Spirit.
They’re the same type of people who think Matt Luke needed at least another year

That’s exactly my issues with that board. Love the recruiting nuggets and Bradly Sowell’s input but the bunch of gray beard morons is asinine. But the average poster is a retard when dealing with football knowledge.
