Crystal balled to Mizzou by Allen Trieu.
Steve Wiltfong crystal balled him to Texas in June after having him to Tennessee early on.
He picked up a Rivals Crystal ball by a Texas insider to Texas yesterday. Everything I’ve seen said that if WN committed to Mizzou that it’d help massively with Wingo. Should be a fun one.

The Texas rivals pick is from Geoff Ketchum,so you should assume Wingo is not going to Texas.

I think if we have a decent to good season. He will stay home.

If I had to put money on it, Missouri would be the pick.

Looking forward to his commitment to Auburn

It's gonna be interesting to see how all of this works out. Getting to pay them before they even sign is huge for you all.
At the same time, they could take your money and flip before they sign anything. There'd probably be a lot of pressure not to do it as that would look awful, but it's a risk.
I know that we wouldn't go higher than FSU for Bolden because at least partially, it could cause internal problems. Should Bolden get a bigger NIL deal than Malaki Starks, who is probably gonna be a first round pick?
The editor over at UGAsports has hinted that at least one of the reasons Domonic left Mizzou is because he couldn't get NIL money anywhere close to Luther B. This despite being better on the field last year by quite a bit.

If Wingo holds off his commitment until December which he has said all along is the plan, I think Tennessee has a fantastic shot.
Leading for Wingo now is kind of like having the #1 basketball team in February. You got a great chance but you worry you’ve peaked too early. Tennessee has been the only constant among his rotating list of top schools and he has an OV scheduled for November. The Missouri NIL would only benefit him for one month if he committed in December. So it becomes less of a factor.

Is he related to Ronnie?

He'll go to Mizzou for his freshman year to get paid, and then come to Georgia in years 2 and 3 to get coached up and win championships. Same story for the DL from Mizzou.

Interesting story on Wingo in the PD. (It's ultimately a pay site, but I think they give you a couple of free articles before they ask for $$$).
Wingo Article
The kid must be quite the athlete. Plays O & D, returns punts and kickoffs, and was even the PUNTER for the last two years. The article says the only time he's not on the field is when SLUH kicks off.
Was also surprised to learn that SLUH went 3-7 last year so they probably needed him to play that many positions. For those unfamiliar with St. Louis University High School, it's a private high school with pretty rigorous academic standards. They haven't won a football state title since 1970. Don't challenge them in Water Polo though!

Wingo had 9 receptions for 143 yards in upset of St. Mary’s Missouri’s Class 4 #1 ranked team. St Mary’s 1st loss to a Missouri team since 2020.
