What in the world?! This one hurts. Was fairly close to him in college. Such a good hearted person. I loved how he would always make to the hand the ball directly to the ref. He was just that kind of man.

Rough summer for the Hog community. Rest in peace Alex.

Reminds me of 1988 when Pistol and Don Redden died two months apart in January and March of 1988 at 40 and 24 years old.

Prayers to the family and friends.

Is he the one who went to Arky against his mom’s wishes?

Damn, hate to hear this about him. I had mad respect for him choosing Arkansas regardless of how his mom acted. Big loss.

Mallett was bad enough but this is too much. What an awful summer. RIP Budda.

Damn, hate to see this - motorcycles are so cool but so dangerous even if you do everything right.

I’ll always remember him pushing our shite back in on a very cold night in Death Valley 2015.

RIP Collins, I remember when we played Arky at home and he got flipped and landed on the crown of his helmet upside down. Thought he broke his neck but got right up and kept playing.

I will never understand why good kids like Alex Collins seem to lose their lives young while so many pieces of garbage live on. Bless his family and friends. Hope he and Ryan are calling the hogs in heaven.

Losing two of your most recognizable players from the previous decade. Collins was a beast. Great player.

I made a mspaint photoshop of him as the juggernaut, he used it as his Twitter avatar for awhile. RIP Alex
