SEC Expansion Next Team Odds:
Florida State +125
Clemson +200
North Carolina +450
Virginia Tech +800
Virginia +750
Miami +800
Oklahoma State +850
TCU +2000
The Field +1000
Just found it interesting. These odds are before the PAC 12 collapse, but still interesting.

If the end goal is 20, I'd want:
(1) FSU
(2) Clemson
(3) UNC
(4) VT

Why not Tulane? That way there will be back to being rivals.

The SEC needs to add basketball teams. We already own everyone in football and baseball.
Give me UNC and Duke

Why is any of that good for us?

Because there are millions of diehard UNC basketball fans that will tune in which means more TV money for everyone

People down voting this post are not very bright. N Carolina is THE best addition, and it’s not even close.
The SEC has always wanted, and will continue to want, large state schools that border other SEC schools.
We don’t have a school currently in the No Carolina market, which is an extremely attractive TV market. Carolina is very solid in football, great in basketball, and has a very good baseball program.
We already have the s Carolina and Florida markets. Don’t really need FSU and Clemson. N Carolina is a much bigger prize.

Despite the failed PAC 12 media deal, streaming is the future of TV. The future is creating compelling matchups people will pay their $14.99 a month for. FSU and Clemson have large fanbases and create matchups that sell. UNC does too.
But it's less about new territories moving forward, and more about teams with rabid fanbases that will sell compelling matchups

UNC is good at football when Mac Brown is coaching them, not so much when he isn't.

If we’re taking a trash Florida school, I’d rather take UCF just to give the finger to the semenholes and canes.
Clemson and Tech and the only natural fits, but VT and UNC bring in new markets. I’d guess UNC because of its academics.

my man.
That would be my order also. I have always liked VA for some reason........but lacross is huge with them. Very few in the SEC can even spell it........including me.
