I don't see how you can just have a guy with his speed on the bench but I also don't want to see us in and out of wildcat every other play. Do you make him a speed sweep wr. Maybe throw them the ball on designed swing passes?

Why are the days of having a backup quarterback gone? Let him keep learning and growing as a quarterback to compete next season if he doesn’t start this year.

Because he’s possibly the fastest, most agile guy on the field against almost any opponent we play?

No way. He is a Auburn QB. Tight End is the right answer

Some special packages to put added wrinkled into the offense.

Speed is no good when you panic when you run the ball
Edit: I still can't spell

Fear can create some unbelievable speed. The trick is to have controlled speed/fear. Hard to do when "panick" sets in.

They will probably create a package for him. It may not be as straight forward as the Wildcard.
maybe so lead sweeps, roll outs throws to the boundary and a few deep throws.

As long as our NIL donors are willing to keep the same energy with our backup QB as desperate teams that want our QB to be starter then I do not why we cant keep a backup QB. We can always carry a fake scholarship player like Grant Loy just in case.

He is a decent quarterback so a backup role would work but he can also run and could be a running back if there is a need.

Fastest, sure. Most agile? What? I must have watched a different guy.

Kodi Burns his arse if he can catch.

This isn't the Malzahn buttclinch method of coaching and playing QBs. When Ashford is in the game, he will have a full package of plays. This won't be wildcat smashed.

This Yes. Absolutely confounding.

I hope he gets some special packages to throw a wrinkle or two for the D's to figure out.

Baseball is his best option, imo.
