We’ve seen this happen so many times that I would say it is fairly likely he flips backs on signing day. Some kids just love playing the Iron Bowl Shuffle in recruiting for attention.

I doubt that he does flips with the cash that he can make. Plus going to Bama would just increase the Julio Jones comparisons that this kid has been getting for years. Bama has had 10-15 Perry Thompson types, but Auburn has had few if any. Kyle Davis and Nate Craig Myers were big time recruits, but what does that mean in a Gus offense with no route variations within a predictable scheme that everyone figured out. This gives Auburn a future number one receiver that everyone wanted, and Perry gets to write his own legacy not be in a looooong list of dudes who have already taken that path. It's a win win

Yet manages to have top classes since NIL with players making significant money off NIL. Nothing gives away someone who knows nothing about what’s going on than comments in this type about Alabama recruiting.
His bitching about NIL is like his bitching about the RPO and hurry up no huddle. He was already becoming one of the more RPO heavy pass games and hurry up no huddle offenses while he was bitching about it.
