GOAT 2000s yearly SEC Matchup. 04 and 06 were the 2 hardest hitting games I’ve ever witnessed. I was sore after watching both.

My kid, who grew up in the Baton Rouge area and is a sophomore at Auburn, is super pissed that they won't be playing!

In my Mid 50's. This was a big annual game. Just the names of the games.. I remember the 9/11 game was postponed. Cecil the Diesel going for 200 in a loss. Barn Burner... .Jamie Howard.. The Cam game, The D. Bird catch, and of course the EARTHQUAKE. Chad Lavalais stuffing Cadillac on 4th down... Reggie Torbor matched up on Devery Henderson in the slot... Skyler green Punt return... AUBs fake FG to the FB... The ridiculous call on the missed PAT... etc. Wow. Gonna miss THAT game.

The game literally as it all.
Almost half of the games with Auburn have a "name" to them.
A testament to the series' greatness.
Absolute shame to not have it annually.

Of course it was Auurn who gave Burrow his best test of the season, it would be no other way.
Even an all-time 2019 LSU football team was subject to Auburn shenanigans. Came down to the wire.

I think LSU pulled a saban and asked for the game not to be played.

This is the type shite we're gonna have to deal with the expansion. Everybody makes out except for the fans.

If we go to a 3-6 format, all will be well.
If Auburn can maintain the Bama and Georgia rivalries annually… I can stomach losing the LSU rivalry if it means we play every SEC team twice in a 4-year period.
Playing LSU, Florida, and Tennessee twice every four seasons is a win.

I'm okay with some changes. No offense to Arkansas, I just don't want to see LSU get stuck playing the new guys every single year. If we get to play one of the landmass teams and one of the Alabama teams every year, along with Florida, I'll be happy.
