And all 4 finished behind Ohio State who finished 3rd.
It was another successful year for Buckeye sports.
Stanford and Texas finished 1 and 2.

maybe in activities not sports. Ohio State sucked at college baseball. College basketball and college football this year.
People in Ohio can't cook either and could **** up eggs.

We were bad at basketball. I do not follow college baseball.
We made the college football playoffs so not sure why you included it.

How did Ohio St finish 3rd if the top four spots were taken by SEC schools?

I'm glad I was not the only one thinking this...

How do 4 schools finish in the top 4 of a competition, but all of them finish behind another school?

...and not one of them fields teams in over 21 varsity sports...
1. Stanford - 36 Varsity Sports
2. Texas - 18 Varsity Sports
3. Ohio State - 33 Varsity Sports
4. Virginia - 27 Varsity Sports
5. Florida - 21 Varsity Sports
6. Tennessee - 20 Varsity Sports
7. Georgia - 19 Varsity Sports
8. North Carolina - 27 Varsity Sports
9. LSU - 21 Varsity Sports
10. USC - 21 Varsity Sports
Hats off to future SEC school Texas for finishing #2 while participating in half as many sports as #1 Stanford.

Math wasn't one of the competitions, obviously.
Or as a famous OSU alumn once said 'We ain't come to play no school'.

Arkansas fans would not know what elite is.

LOL Basketball and baseball we are super elite compared to your shite programs. We'll give you football where you play one tough game a year and lost that one 3 years in a row.

Women's sports were on another level this year.
Men's sports, while still good across the board, just need a little more from football and T&F (and golf, who was less than stellar in 2023, but I'll give them a pass considering last year)
Looking forward to much more than just football competitions in the SEC in the near future!
