It can be argued he has been one of the best pitchers so far in the NCAA tournament.

Don’t need him tomorrow. We will have Drew Beam, another 1st round pick. He held LSU to 1 earned run in the season and got the win. We also have AJ Russell that has a .98 era. Still have Sewell, and Halverson. We have plenty left.

Looks like despite being moved to the bullpen and finding great success as a closer and having a future as a reliever, Chase has left the Vols. He wants to be a starter and go somewhere that will promise to let him be a starter. Coach V went on record yesterday stating that they had talked have have known his he was moved to the bullpen that Chase was going to leave.

Those three innings he pitched against USM were electric. Outside of Skenes and he might have had the most dominant stuff I saw in the tournament. And there were some otherworldly pitching performances throughout the tournament.
