Kentucky and Bama hosting is a joke. Kentucky hasn’t won a series in a month and half. Bama has won a few games since it’s fired its coach but had some really bad losses.

West Virginia went from No. 6 national seed five days ago to a 2 in somebody else's regional.

Ouch.

Wha?

Alabama is 8-2 since they fired Bohannon. They’ve won their last three SEC series. An RPI of 14. They are 16-14 in SEC play and 38-17 overall. They were 12-1 in mid-week games. The only “really bad losses” you could attribute are losing a series to Columbia in March. Maybe you’re talking about a sweep at LSU. But every metric suggests Alabama should be in the conversation to host.

Seems the Tennessee fan is mad that his team didn't handle business for a good chunk of the season and wants to cherry pick.

Nothing wrong with Kentucky or Alabama hosting over Tennessee at this point. A case can be made for both.

If chalk held completely (it won’t), Supers would be:

#16 Texas @ #1 Wake Forest
#15 Boston College @ #2 Florida
#14 Alabama @ #3 Arkansas
#13 Oklahoma St. @ #4 LSU
#12 Auburn @ #5 Stanford
#11 Miami @ #6 Clemson
#10 Coastal Carolina @ #7 Vandy
#9 Kentucky @ #8 Virginia

4 and up means you're home in Game 1 at Omaha too. That would be nice.

The swept USC at the beginning of May and outscored the Vols 23-20 in their series.

Bama might frick up someone's regional (if they don't host).
It wouldn't surprise me if they don't make some serious noise in the post season.

That won’t be the seeding simply because the committee won’t allow the possibility of 6 SEC teams making it to Omaha in a chalk scenario. They’ll pair up Kentucky with Vandy, etc.

12 Auburn @ #5 Stanford

Stanford should be very nervous if this ends up being their draw.

Where are those Bama posters clamoring to end their baseball program at now?

Good thing those young men aren't scared to compete in the SEC. Hell of a way to end the regular season.

They still want to end our program and every other program outside of football
