Every coach wants to beat the cupcakes on their schedule.

Really don't give a shite about games from decades before I was born.

Series is pretty close in my lifetime, and it's trending even closer in the CURRENT century.

Why does Kelly look so old and wrinkley? He’s 61 and could pass for 77

He should try beating Kirby Smart. That's what matters these days. 0-3. Sheesh.

Afraid not. I specifically remember Kelly telling the national TV audience that the only way his team was beating BAMA is if they don't come back in the second half. And then we beat him down again in a semi. Jimbo, Kelly, and the Gus Bus. 3 of a kind.

Try harder.

Uh, yea, we know he does. He says this for the fans.
That's literally the only game LSU cares about. I watched Moscona or whatever his name is after LSU lost to UCLA one year and he was like, ah, things happen sometimes. After the loss to Bama he was basically having a panic attack.

This is their Super Bowl. Ever since Saban went to Bama it has been total and complete obsession.

Sad part is, the other side doesn't view this game anywhere close to the same way. I almost feel sorry for them with all their excitement playing a team wondering what's the big deal?

Right….Bryant was 16-3 against LSU. His 1969 team was his only team to lose in Baton Rouge. Even Mike the Tiger was scared of the Bear.

Right.....LSU broke Bryant and made his arse quit in 1982.

Well, that's why he came here. He knew he'd never have the war chest to do it in South Bend.

It's no big secret Bama's a major power and has been for a very long time. Georgia has earned the top spot until they're unseated.

LSU may not be at that level at the moment- but those laughing at LSU won't be laughing much longer.

As for those who question the talent potential LSU has, name another major program whose last three head coaches have won a national title.
There's a great chance Brian Kelly will become the fourth.

Know your history:

That only works if we talk about Cholly Mac. Coach Bryant used to treat Cholly Mac like a red-headed stepchild. LSU would come into all these big games with BAMA with such high hopes only to leave with head tucked tightly under tail.

Cholly Mac record vs Coach Bryant: 1962- 1979

BAMA 14 - LSU 2

This reality check is brought to you by the cold hard facts.

What does any of that have to do with LSU pushing Bryant's shite in the 1982 game?

Well, silly Cajun, Coach Bryant owned LSU in his long, long, long, 25-year BAMA career.
