NFL scouts appear to be annoyed with Dabo and how he pompously pumps up his players and how great they are. This particular comment below from one NFL scout is especially blistering.

On the one hand, he is trying to help his players.
On the other hand, if you cry wolf over and over then when you actually do have a diamond in the rough kid who bloomed late nobody is going to believe it because you said that Kirk Herbstreit's kid would actually be a great #3 NFL WR the year before.

Sounds like Dabo is just wants the best for his players. If a scout is told something by Dabo and they believe it and don't do their homework then that's on them. It's not his job to scout for them.

I mean...there are worse things than a coach trying to sell his player to an employer. The scouts job is too wade through the bs and make an educated decision based on sight along with interviews

This might be the dumbest form of criticism I have heard in a while. Dabo is doing what every player wants their head coach to do.
Then again we are talking about people who are going to draft Anthony Richardson in the 1st round. So how smart can they be?

Well, that may be a death shot to dumbo’s recruiting. It only took 1 scout saying Malzahn’s offense did not prepare Olinemen, and Oline recruiting went in the shitter after that. Saban and bowl cut both love to negative recruit. They will bring this up to every recruit they’re battling Clemson with.

scouts want the truth. It is a multi billion dollar industry and they do not expect a coach to run his players in the dirt, but do not lie while pumping sunshine,
