This right here. That’s the origin of all this.

I stopped renting my condo for a few years. Some Louisiana garbage snuck a pet monkey in my unit. Never thought I'd get a call at 2 in the morning saying sir there is a monkey jump up and down on your balcony. Tore the place to shite

That's not bad. My 45 mile drive to Montgomery for work sometimes takes well over an hour on summer Sundays. Congestion brings traffic down to a crawl and sometimes stop and go.

Miss the days when the panhandle/Gulf Shores was mostly just an AL, GA, and Miss destination.

We did have some thug at The Hangout the other night beat his girl friend to s pulp and then shoot a bystander in the head twice but all involved were hoods from fairhope. I don't even leave my house during spring break anymore.

Yeah that’s sad. I didn’t realize that Fairhope was that bad. It seems like a great place to live.

The summertime weekly Yankee parade is misery in NC. God bless anyone unfortunate enough to have to commute on 40, during Friday afternoons. My old commute was around 30 minutes. On Friday's the Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Indiana plates choke the highway and turn it into a hour and half drive.

Thankfully we're off the beaten path unless folks try to use the backroads to get to the Brunswick beaches. Thankfully, it's still mostly locals that head there.

I drive into Mobile on 98 from Mississippi. Starting in May till nearly September 98 will be clogged with mostly Texans going to Florida. I have often sat at lights at 7am on sat/sun morning with nothing but 15 cars from texas. When it’s Time to go home esp weekend afternoon it’s much much worse than weekday rush hour traffic on 98.

There's a couple of really bad hoods with drug problems and hoodlums like everywhere. There's a really bad neighborhood heading south, one really old bad hood in point clear near CR1 and some areas of barnwell.

We have a place at the Outer Banks which the best part of that traffic is never that bad and there are really no hotels on the beach just house/condo rentals. Nothing like the areas between Wilmington and Topsail. Emerald Isle I can not speak as I stay away from Jacksonville/Morehead City.

But than again the majority of the people that live in the Triangle I would wager are from up north or the midwest. RTP the majority is Indian.
