Oats is a great coach. Seriously. But this Bama team making a sweet 16 and Auburn not is just pulling straws out of a hat. We had a tough loss and they had a really nice draw. Oh well

It gives you a shot at making the Elite Eight. I agree that the Sweet Sixteen itself doesn’t mean much but we should have more of them.

We lost to Yale because one of our best scorers couldn’t hold his composure all season and it blew up in our face when it mattered.

I’m talking NCAA Tournament success. Are we really going to sit here and pretend like Bruce has done anything noteworthy outside of the 2019 season?

At this point, I’d rather have the what we’ve done over what Bama has done so far. That’ll change if they somehow beat UNC.

Yeah I agree with that. He has been good beating up on double digit seeds but he has also lost to them too.

The program feels stagnant with no big change in sight to turn things around. It’s going to be hard to keep getting excited for regular season home wins when in the grand scheme of things they don’t mean much because hardly any of them are quad 1 wins. Bruce can’t win on the road and it prevents us from getting a high seed in the NCAA tournament. We all thought this was the year for a big NCAA run with the seniors we had and a 5 star McDonald’s All American point guard but it didn’t workout.

Yeah we choked and they just got lucky that they played much worse than we did and still won. That’s how it goes sometimes.

What’s funny is it seems like only bama fans try to parrot the S16 as the barometer for success between the two programs. Coincidentally is the only real advantage they have.
