. The media is just doing their job.
Most of the media has changed their tune since the ESPN article came out.
Only Goodman and some others like him continue to spout shite.
They are doing their job, which is making money for their greedy selves and their companies.
The shirts were classless, but the media has been just as classless.

Shut the frick up.
You people don’t give a frick, as previously evidenced.
You are vile to the core. The whole lot of you.
I’ll play this game with you as long as you want. Be sure to give Harris’ father a call to see how angry he is, so you can tweet about it. That’ll help.

You didn't quote the most glaring part:
And this will get a knee-jerk 2nd Amendment reaction but don't schools have a little bit more responsibility to preach to their players about the perils of gun culture? Was anybody remotely surprised by the news that Malik Nabers was packing or that a Bama basketball player was out wielding a gun (let alone shot and killed somebody with it)?
But melt, triggered, virtue, whatever. Schools are powerless to do anything because athletes gonna athlete and can't be controlled off campus and it's anti-American to suggest that maybe just maybe schools ought to do more to counter gun culture.
quote:
When Kelvin was in Publix trying to pick out a bottle of wine for his wife, there was an Alabama fan on the phone doing the same thing. The fan was laughing about the T-shirts with whomever was on the other end of the conversation.
“It’s like he knew the people who wore the T-shirts,” Heard said.
It took everything for Heard to keep his cool. What would you do in that situation if Harris was your step-daughter and you were now raising Harris’ son? Kelvin somehow walked away.
“I wanted to tell him that Jamea was shot in the face,” Heard said. “Her beautiful face. She would be alive if Alabama basketball players had made different decisions that night. And this guy was laughing about it.”

Gun culture among basketball and football players can’t be brushed aside no matter how awkward it makes news conferences after games. Schools in the SEC and beyond should study what’s taking place around the Alabama basketball team, and then make sure athletes never carry firearms while on scholarship. Don’t give me the misplaced, and misguided arguments about the Second Amendment either. This isn’t about the right to bear arms. Gun culture in America takes the lives of people every day. It’s an epidemic, and athletes on TV can use their platforms to help instead of harm.

If Brandon Miller doesn’t deliver the gun is she still alive? Simple question.

Hell, I’m just glad Goodman called Mr. Heard to make him rehash it all again. What would we have done without that story?
I’m sure Mr. Heard is better off after that conversation.

You are a dumbass if you think bama has handled it well. It starts with your idiot coach who can’t get out of his way.

A University of Miami football player gets a parking ticket and every sports outlet in the country would rush to get the scoop. A University of Florida player getting arrested? Well, no one seems to notice that much despite the fact it's happen to twenty players since Urban Meyer showed up in December of 2004. In the same time FSU has had 13 arrests, and Miami only two. That's right two in the past four and a half years, which is one of the few stats we really have to be proud of from that era. Of course, now UF is going on the defensive trumping all sorts of "yeah, but if you look at it from that way..." stats. None of the ways that want you to look though diverts your attention from the fact that their recent arrest record is 1000% higher than so-called "Thug U."

Keep proving my point. All you have is insults and that goes to the weak position of having to defend that which is indefensible.

I get that Goodman is driving clicks like most everyone in his dying industry but really he's just boosting the signal of a family that is clearly pretty upset about this and all too happy to tell their story.
In this age of social media, they would have found out about those t-shirts if Goodman had never been born.
I'm sure if some right wing talking head was boosting the signal of some family in Chicago mad at Joe Biden because their kid got mowed down by out of control crime, y'all would probably be okay with that.
