What is funny is people are so sure that Hugh will go get a transfer. He could. But is it likely? No.
Hugh has been setting the record straight how shitty of a team he was dealt. Expectations are mild at best. Does he go get a guy with one year remaining when Robbie has enough skill in him without elevating expectations for the first year. That probably isn’t what you want to hear but that’s where I’m at.

Looks like we have no receivers and no quarterback. Based on recent info.
We will be lucky to win 7 games. What is funny to me is that people thought Hugh was some kind of QB magician and would turn Ashford into a useable SEC quarterback. LOL

I refuse to throw in the towel on Geriner.

I have not seen enough of him yet. Honestly, if this season is going to be a building season, I say let him play. There is no upside to playing Ashford. If Holden is the guy moving forward, which we dont know, then get him some playing time. Dont waste the year on Ashford. We know exactly what he is

He definitely has. Every top recruit interview is the same, “they’re telling me that I can help get Auburn back to where it needs to be.”

Was Alston any good? Member a lot of our wannabe scouts shitting on him

Alston looked good today. He’s gotten bigger and made some really good cutbacks.

He has a very odd looking running motion. Made some good quick cuts though. Had two 10+ yard runs I can remember.

Marshall and Willis are ashamed of you right now.
Yea but Frasier, JJ, JF3 and Gatewood agree with me
And Ashford is neither Marshall or Willis.

My biggest takeaway is that Holdens last name is pronounced Gurnee. Sounded so weird

I watched it on my laptop while I worked yesterday. I didn't necessarily pay attention to everything but I don't think we really learned anything. Typical spring game, but with even worst weather for trying to run a new offense. I don't think we can judge anyone, including Ashford off of yesterday.

Yep. Kind of seemed like the same issue McCaleb had back in 2009 at the beginning of the year. Almost tripped himself up running to far forward.

I have to agree. Good QBs transferring from a lower school to a better school already happened. This next portal window will be players who missed out on the depth chart in spring practice. You are not getting a starter there. Now if Finley leaves we might get a QB for depth.
Only way you get a starter in the May window is if it was somebody who had academic work to do or a degree to finish before they could transfer and that is a small number.

This Wolff kid from Old Dominion looks pretty good but I don’t know if he could beat out Robby.

That guy is less mobile than TJ. He’s a literal rock.

That's amazing. Guess he doesn't need pads or a helmet.
