We need some WRs that can get separation and make catches on bad throws too. WRs can make up for some of what a QB lacks and that can help give the QB confidence. Confidence can make a huge difference.

Auburn isn’t even getting a visit from Ward. Also, Slackman canceled his visit this weekend. Portal recruiting not going great atm.

From what the recruiting guys said in podcast sounds like we back off of him. They said we encouraged him to take more visits instead of trying to lock him down when he visited

Idk man they said they wanted him to visit other places so he could compare them to AU since he never visited big time schools before. Sounds like once they got him in person they wasn’t that impressed with him or he wasnt what they thought would be a difference maker over guys we already have.

This time last year I freaked out a little when we only had 2 portal commits (rivaldo and mcalister). Everything started popping after Christmas. I also don't think a portal transfer is official until the kid attends classes. These commits are still technically available.

I agree and we need DL and that’s why i think they didn’t push for him and waste a scholarship on him at OT when we have bigger needs.
