Obviously Riddick could cancel BCW visit if he chooses to Bama, and maybe the Coaches want him at BCW even if he does commit to Bama, but I just cant get passed the timing of the announcement>BCW 3 days later not being positive for the good guys.

Seen this movie before. Yeldon, Evans, Shaun Dion Hamilton, Foster, Mack Wilson, Ben Davis, Quandarrius Robinson, Kool-Aid, Khurtiss Perry, James Smith, Russaw, etc.
It ends with them picking Alabama. Until we break that trend it’s hard to see it ending any other way.

One thing is for certain, if we get Riddick, he is gonna be a busy busy man judging from our DL recruiting to date everything is gonna be gettin through to the second level.
Now if we got Kamarrion Franklin and LJ McCray, now that would be a different story.
But we will be lucky to get one and the other prospects we have arent anything to write home about.

Getting Riddick would be a big deal but he does have a point. Elite defensive lineman are important too.
The last two 5 star linebackers we’ve gotten (Tre Williams and Pappoe) would’ve looked a lot better with elite defensive tackles in front of them.

that is not the point. Good news drops and its immediately not good enough. No matter how good, never good enough. Never happy. Always shitting on some aspect of Auburn football. Nega barners suck!

Easy easy chex, if....when we flip Riddick it is huge.
DBs heck we are going to have a tough time culling and RBs as well. LBs look good and if Thompson flips and Simmons commits we will look great there too. QB great.
But all this effort on the DL and OL and we are gonna have to hit on darn near everyone of the ones left at this point.
We can always get in the portal but Id hoped we would have success on the lines like we are in all the other positions.
Im very very pleased with the recruiting through the portal (who wouldnt be) and so far in high school. Just those lines are concerning.
