I was told by LSU that he is the it kid and that other LA qb had to leave state because of him. What happened?

He has tremendous upside and one hell of an arm. He's young and just couldn't beat out the two guys ahead of him. He'll find the right opportunity and we'll regret letting this kid hit portal.

He didn’t need permission to enter the portal. He didn’t want to be third string again next year and didn’t have the chest to work his way up the depth chart or wait his turn. It’s the current state of college football. Immediate gratification generation.

Prior to Howard coming to LSU, his camp (mostly his dad) was talking a lot about how he just wanted to make the team better, whether he started the first few years or not and how he wanted to redshirt his first season anyway and now it seems like they've changed their minds on a lot of that.

He’s probably has more potential than the other two guys we have but he’s just lost in the mix and can’t get meaningful reps in practice.
