Maybe you could be sued for making charges that you have no proof happened

Geez that’s so unfortunate. Has it been released what the staffers duties were that evening? In other words were they working officially or not? Seems like Uga will be sued heavily if they were supposed to be sober driving them for example.

I don’t think the tox report is out for this accident.

That last twitter on his account. Wow. Going to be a gaping hole with him not on this planet.

RIP to him and the driver. Sad.

Failed to make a left turn and hit a curb. I really hope she wasn’t drunk.

Ever seen any of those videos showing how far/fast someone without a seatbelt can get whipped across a car. And to think how big this fella is in the first place. Just shitty and sad. Wear your damn seatbelts.

The report said no alcohol or drug test was conducted on LeCroy

Is anyone here current of former law enforcement that would possibly know the reason(s) they wouldn't test for substances?

There should be a "yet" on that.

The report information is gathered at the accident scene, compiled together, and released from there.
It is essentially an initial report.
It could note "smells" or "containers".

But coming out so quickly, toxicology isn't going to make it into the accident report.

Agreed. If anything is positive they have to do gas chromatography etc to determine the levels.

They wouldn't test at the scene because they were rushing her to the ER. The coroner will test it.

No one was drinking. The driver was distracted. My guess is the driver either fell asleep or was looking at her phone.

Edit: By no one, I meant the driver wasn't drinking.

You don't know, Rex. You simply can not know. Any more than those that initially clung to the idea that "alcohol or speed were not contributing factors". One of those items has been definitively proved false.

For a cat that constantly wanted people to say nothing else about this situation, now would be a good time to take your own advice.

I can tell you with 100% certainty this is not true. At least two passengers in the vehicle were twice the legal limit. I do not know if the driver was impaired, but it’s certain 2 passengers were highly intoxicated.
