Disagree. His legacy will be 2 natty’s no matter the blood on his hands. Nobody will care.
Is he a POS, or did he not want a DUI when the cops showed up?

The honest answer is a
Family member told me they were all drinking. There was some thought chandler may have been under the limit, but she definitely wasn’t a “designated driver”. Lots of posters owe me an apology, but I won’t wait. And no, I’m not celebrating a freaking tragedy. I’m pissed there wasn’t someone watching these guys, like we all should be.

Do you not understand that are university employees? How hard is this?
Jumping is a bit strong. More like…taking a centimeter more step.

An insider to what? My son went to PAC with Tory and I’ve lived in Watkinsville for 30 years. If that gets me something, please tell me where to pick it up. I’m just correcting the false information posted here.
My personal opinion is I would be pissed if I was the parent of any of the 4 individuals in the car. Athens is a small enough town that we can make sure these athletes are home safe without relying on mid-20s aged females. Those girls should not have been put in that scenario either.

She was with them all night. My sources are multiple people that know them and saw them. Some say she was drinking, some say she wasn’t. I’ve literally heard both. The answer is probably in the middle.
I think you need to start preparing yourself for the worst on that.

No. That’s your arse. Your head is really far up it. I live in Watkinsville and it’s pretty widely know the girls were with them and seen by dozens of others. That’s not a crime, but it’s something.
I was called “alter” when I said a family member of Tory told me they were intoxicated. 20 people in that thread said “no one was drinking”. I corrected them.
Let be honest…the university is offering tens of millions in settlement hush money before that toxicology report comes out. We are liable, big time.

Stop it, please! The girls were at Toppers with the players. The driver may have been sober, but she was at the bar with them.
No! Athletic staffers don’t need to be at strip clubs or bars with athletes. PERIOD. End of Story! It’s a problem if they’re at the Georgie Theatre together. This isn’t difficult and really has nothing to do with it being a strip club other than it went from incredibly stupid to very incredibly stupid.
I’m a Georgia grad and fan. I responded to a post 2 days ago that at least 2 of the occupants were intoxicated. A victim’s family member shared this with me. I was berated by fellow Georgia fans in that post. I was also told they were at Toppers, though I didn’t post that. People with knowledge are still adamant the driver was sober, and I hope to goodness she was.
We need to stop being defensive about this story. The tragedy doesn’t take away from the fact that the athletic department needs to make sure this is put to a stop. We don’t need athletic staffers at freaking Toppers with athletes! If they went separately, fine. But, they were together and that’s a problem.
I’m a UGa fan, and unfortunately this tragedy wasn’t “totally out of control of the coaches or university”. We are talking about two fatalities, and as bad as the truth may be, it should be known.
Some fellow fans here have lost their minds.
Alter? I’ve just been a longtime lurker. I am a retired UGa grad and my son went to PAC with one of the passengers. The only statement I’m making as fact is the 2 survivors were intoxicated. I would be shocked if college students going to the Waffle House at 2am were not.
If you want a rumor, several people that were with them claim the driver was sober.
It is tragic. My son went to high school with one of the passengers. It’s very possible the driver was completely sober. The family member I spoke with did not want to speak on behalf of the others. I’m just correcting the statement that “nobody” was intoxicated.
I can tell you with 100% certainty this is not true. At least two passengers in the vehicle were twice the legal limit. I do not know if the driver was impaired, but it’s certain 2 passengers were highly intoxicated.
