Tons of movement at the top, which is rare following an individual season.

Oklahoma’s failure to finish in the Top 25 dropped them from #1 to #3… passed by both Bama and Ohio State

Bama and Ohio State both jumped a spot up. Bama is finally #1

Michigan jumped Notre Dame at the 4-5 spot… The Irish were out front at #1 by a mile through the early ‘90s but have been sliding ever since.

Georgia passed LSU in the 11-12 spot.

1. Alabama- 1148
2. Ohio St.- 1138
3. Oklahoma- 1135

When OU and Texas join, the SEC will have 8 or the top 15.

Better start winning some games because that's been slipping the last few years

Why wouldn’t you? Similar history to LSU and UGA, not as good as LSU and UGA in the last 20 years but still have won the SEC 3 times, a natty, another national championship appearance, and an undefeated team that didn’t get a shot all in that time.

Because it's measured in weeks and I didn't expect AU to be that high. Nothing more, Boss.

But wait.... MSU fans told us just last week that MSU was a better program than Arkansas... this must be wrong.

Nah, we’re both on the ascending side of things. Soon Tennessee will be passed by both.

I figured we’d be higher but I imagine the inconsistency the past 15 seasons has dropped us a lot.

I’m guessing we had very few if any weeks in the AP top 25 in 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2022.

Actually it’s based on final poll performance for each year. However, Auburn is also #13 in weekly appearances.
