Saban will never leave Bama and he wants nothing to do with the NFL

Sabah sees the writing on the wall, evidenced by Bama completely selling out for one recruiting class. Their spot as top dog in the SEC was taken by UGa, and they will not be favored to win the West next season.

It eats at Sabah, knowing he has that stain from the NFL on his resume, and even more so now, because he is approaching the end of his career. The time would be now to jump ship.

It’s a dumb article. Saban already showed he is not cut out for coaching football at the highest level.

Has any SEC coach succeeded in NFL? Saban, Spurrier, and Meyer didn’t.

Saban is an NFL failure.

He got a 10 year head start on NIL at Bama. With similar talent on the other sideline he isn’t that special. He would hover around 0.5 in the NFL.

There is literally no one on this board with more disdain for Nick Saban than me.
But this is the stupidest OP I've ever seen on this board.
Seriously, you would do yourself a favor by responding that you were blind drunk when you posted this.

People give Saban too much shite for his NFL tenure. He won 15 games in 2 seasons with a franchise that’s been mediocre for 20 years and hasn’t been to a Super Bowl since peak Marino was setting passing records that lasted long enough to buy alcohol.

Clearly Saban made the right call in going back to college and winning fricking six more (at least) national titles versus an NFL tenure that would never have been comparable even if he did a spectacular job.

Meyer, on the other hand, was a total failure in the NFL, and I saw that coming as confidently as the Sun rising tomorrow. It was clear from his Florida and Ohio State tenures that Meyer has difficulty handling the slightest adversity and dealing with problem players and coaches. He was an awful choice to turn around a basement-dwelling NFL franchise.

In another decade Brian Kelly will be 71 and Saban will be 81. Just stop and think about that.
