aTm and jimbo have been given a hard time about their class for a whole year. Bama did the same this year, and it will show later today when they sign Ricks. Ricks was going to LSU as of yesterday afternoon, but the money bags came

If you can afford it, great. The Ags shouldn’t have gotten blasted for signing day. The other 364 days they deserved it.

I can't wait for the Tim Watts spin on how Bama coaches thought Ricks wasn't worth the hype 2 days ago when it looked like he was going to LSU and the Bama fans latched on to that. Now it is a HUGE win for them

The difference were all the a&m fans who publicly and nationally bragged about buying their recruits. Not the case for UA.
The only amount of money I heard from anywhere regarding Ricks is from an LSU fan saying we offered 5 million.
For the record Saban warned everyone regarding NIL and the portal. Maybe everyone should have listened.

Who the hell ever said that? Alabama needed a corner in this class. Hurley and Mitchell are probably both destined for safety.

Can you link that please. I had not seen that and no way Ricks is not a take. He is one of the best in the class in a position of need for us.

Crazy to think we’re just a bunch of poor, uneducated, sidewalk rednecks, but also have unlimited funds to buy all the recruits we want for 15+ years.

Needing a corner and passing up a current starter are two different things. Eli Ricks may declare for all we know.

I guess I am not on that board but he is wrong if he said that. The same as if Ricks picks LSU today. He was a take for UA.
