I’m not certain they get rid of him, they’re desperate to have success at anything
Remember, when it came out that Strong was having an affair with a boosters wife in Louisville they embraced it. And when it came out that Tom Hermann was snorting cocaine off of strippers butts with high school coaches, the horns response was to say “whatever”. They even made shirts blowing it off which are still being worn today by fans
I’m not passing judgement on horn admin, but they haven’t sought a moral high road in a long long time

At the very least Beard will get canceled.
It's not going to sit well with the national media for a Millionaire White Man to get a slap on the wrist for choking a female.
The optics would probably hurt Texas in the long run more than just firing him. It would be an entire season of protests, scrutiny, and rumors.

Nothing's come out yet. Not even a mugshot. The arrest was made just a matter of hours ago at 2-something in the morning.
I'd imagine details will begin pouring out in the next couple of hours or so once the Austin police department has a grip on how to handle all of the media as this blew up into a national story pretty quickly (rightfully so)

Well that’s a felony, choking is another, domestic charges…. I mean the dude is gonna get hammered. Everything is enhanced these days and it will take him more time to fight this.

He's almost certainly done at Texas unless some major mitigating factors are at play, like if he walked in on his daughter's boyfriend sexually assaulting her or something, but I seriously doubt he ever gets convicted of anything. Very few domestic cases have 3rd party eyewitnesses or evidence and the overwhelming majority of victims request that the charges be dropped or are otherwise uncooperative.
Assuming there are no mitigating factors and he did in fact assault his wife or child, he will release a statement through his attorney admitting to substance abuse, check into a celebrity rehab facility that's really just a glorified PR firm, the charges will either quietly be dropped 6 months from now or he'll go into some kind of diversion program, and he will resurface at Liberty in a couple of years.
