It is a more prosperous state, UGA is a much better school academically, and Athens is way better than Tuscaloosa (not even comparable, Tuscaloosa would be the worst town in the sec if it weren’t for Gainesville and college station).
Plus with a major metro area In Georgia, with several pro sports franchises and a world class airport, the ceiling for Georgia as a brand is much much higher than the Gumps

Bama has been the standard in college football for the last 15 years. Even from a historical perspective, Bama has more prestige than tOSU.

What are you talking about man? Alabama is the most decorated college football brand of the modern era. The only reason Ohio State gets sunshine pumped is because there has to be some glimmer of hope in the Midwest which is a big market, or else the SEC might as well go play their own brand of semi pro football.
Also, UGA is the #1 seed in the playoff, has 3 consensus NC and 5 others that could be claimed, including the last one, They’ve won the SEC 14 times which is #2 all time. They are in the top 5 in bowl wins and bowl appearances. They’ve won every major bowl multiple times. They had the SEC’s first Heisman, and we’re the first to host a major football power (Yale 1929). Nobody is saying they are a top 5 all time team, but they definitely are a major program and player.

You crap on Ohio State in your first paragraph then go on to talk about how great Georgia is which is funny because it is an accepted fact that Ohio State has accomplished way more than Georgia. I forgot Georgia even had a football program until Kirby showed up. I doubt anyone will hear from Georgia after Kirby is gone.

I’m not crapping on Ohio State. This is a response to the pretend UGA fan that thinks Ohio State is a better program historically than Alabama. That’s a laughably false assertion.
The second is a clean up of this messy thread that UGA is not a top 10 program made by Alabama fans responding to the fake UGA fan. I’d think that’s pretty clear. Also as to UGA and OSU, they’ve won the same number of NC in the last 50 years, UGA doing so while competing with AL, AU, LSU, Florida, & Tennessee while Ohio State has had the luxury of playing in the Big 10 with a Michigan and 12 slappy’s.
