The controversy about Freeze is non-sensical, liberal BS

I'm a Bama fan but that's not important right now. This is about values and being consistent. The left wants to deem sex work as legitimate work. So, what's the big deal if Freeze may have bought some hookers for players or recruits or himself? Next thing. The issue with the Liberty student. That issue took place before Freeze was at Liberty and is over legally. Sure it was bad judgment for him to contact the woman but he did nothing illegal or unethical.
For the men who have an issue with Freeze. You best believe leftists hate you just as much as any other heterosexual male.
I'm delighted Auburn stuck to their guns and hired Freeze. Grace and redemption are real. People who think you are to always answer for mistakes are non-believers in Jesus and they can kiss off.

I mean, not sure how you can think #1 and then turn around and seriously talk about #2 in a biblical sense, but to each his own. Not to mention, is it #1 or #3? A mistake or not a big deal? If it's not a big deal, why would he apologize at all? Doesn't really make sense.
And that doesn't really have anything to do with Freeze per say, just the specific stuff noted above.

Freeze is a piece of shite, but it's also Auburn's right to associate with a noted piece of shite. Your God can forgive whoever he wants, but that doesn't mean others have to.

The left deems sex work as legitimate work yet they demonize men who employ these so-called "legitimate sex workers." It's all BS to justify hatred of heterosexual and especially heterosexual, Christian men.

I dunno about right and left but I think the Christian God makes it pretty clear the work those sex workers participate in is sinful and against his law along with those who purchase it. The Christian view and the overarching Libertarian point of view don't exactly line up here IMHO in terms of personal behavior.
Doesn't really mean much in terms of Freeze and his behavior/forgiveness, but the new age Political Christianity stuff doesn't really mesh.

I am also...but not for the same reasons as you.
The comedy in all of this and a classic example of Auburn being Auburn is the way Auburn tried to manufacture a scandal out of thin air in an attempt to fire Harsin without paying him a buyout...then they turn around and hire Hugh fricking Freeze.

Ole Miss is the one who fired him for hiring sex workers. Many moons ago. The left didn't do shite.
He is being grilled for SA allegations, which have nothing to do with his past association with sex workers. Supporting consenting sex workers and not condoning sexual assault are not mutually exclusive concepts.

If you look hard enough you can say the same about every big-time college or professional coach or administrator. Furthermore, if you can't accept someone after they have been punished for their transgression(s) the issue is with you.
