I have followed their backup QB career Joe Milton very closely and he has finally put together his tools to reach his potential. Kid has the strongest arm in all of CFB and was touted as the next Cam out of highschool.

I think the Vols will be really good again despite their losses of production to the draft this year.

We all just need to get over it already.

I think UT is going to take a huge step back next year and another the year after that. Their entire roster is pretty much Juniors and seniors and they have transition classes coming up to replace them which is never ideal.

They’re already a big problem this year for the playoff committee.

Meh, not really. As long as everyone else holds serve the only way they become a problem is if LSU pulls the upset. Even then UGA holds the head to head as a one loss team….Assuming that scenario happens, the real question is does a one loss UGA get put in over a two loss SEC Champion that just beat them?

Here's what UT will probably lose from this year's team from their 2-deep.

Offense (8-10 of 22):
WR - Tillman, Keyton possibly Hyatt & McCoy
OL - Carvin, Wright, Crawford
TE - Fant, Warren
QB - Hooker
RB - None

Defense (9 of 22)
DE - Bumphus, Young
DT - Garland
LB - Mitchell, Beasley, Banks, Page
S - McCollough, Flowers
CB - None

Special Teams
Punter - Brooks
Kicker - McGrath, Wilson

I do think that Milton will be a good QB...not Hooker's level at all...but he can be very good. But losses at the WR position will be huge. On Defense, they are losing pretty much the entire LB corps. Also, special teams will take a huge hit by losing the punter and kicker. When you add that an improving Florida and angry Bama will both be played away...it lines up to be a pretty big step backwards from 2022.
