I don’t know how TCU is still undefeated.
They’re like Texas only they can win close games at the end

I can't believe LSU is ranked above USC.
Is this just because they expect USC to lose?

LSU is the best 2-loss team in the country.

Potential for most chaos is if LSU beats UGA. Hypothetical:
UGA is in no matter what. Assuming then you have an undefeated OSU/Mich BIG champ and an undefeated TCU B12 champ, who gets that fourth spot?
LSU - 2 loss SEC champ
USC - 1 loss PAC champ
OSU/Mich - 1 loss non champ
Tenn - 1 loss non champ

This has all the momentum to be a worse outcome than 2004 Auburn.

Lsu losing to Tennessee at the halfway point of the season will not outweigh a 2-loss SEC champion who beat 3 top 7 teams in the last 5 games of their season. Period.
Now, lsu still has to win it...

Lsu gets the 4th spot in that situation
The back end of their resume would be quite impressive along with the SEC title to boot.
Tennessee needs LSU to lose to UGA. There isn't a scenario where LSU beats Georgia, then has both UGA and Tennessee both go to the playoff without LSU

Yall keep saying this shite, look at the SOS and SOR for Tennessee it's lightyears ahead, and Tennessee dominated you all, at your stadium.
You can talk yourselves up all you want.
Tennessee is the playoff committees love child this year though, and they decided they are tired of paying child support, and want us to come home.

Why not? PAC 12 sucks dirty dicks

That love child is like 24 years old. Child support ended 6 years ago.
CFP committee is confused by Tennessee being in the mix.
Just hope LSU loses one if their final 3 games because if they win all 3, it'll be Tenner's silver jubilee anniversary.
And, I hate to say it, but LSU isn't your only foe here. Pac-12 champ USC may trump you too.

Southern Cal has only played one good team (Utah) and they lost.
The only other decent team they played was #24 in a 7-3 Oregon State team and they won 17-14. The rest of the teams they played were not even ranked in the top 50-60 if memory serves me well.
LSU SHOULD be ranked ahead of an overrated SC team.

Not trying to talk up lsu.
If they get left out, I won't be mad at it. They lost 2 games.
However I do see the merit in lsu being in the playoff with a win against UGA.
The committee has shown year in and year out that conference championships matter.
If there are two other undefeated conference champions AND lsu beats UGA, the committee won't put two teams in who didn't win their conference.
Tennessee thinking they are automatically in if they win out is more laughable than arguing in favor of lsu getting in.

Just hoping for whatever chaos scenario leaves Crunchy & Co in 5th when the dust settles.
Whether that's a 2 loss LSU or an easily more deserving USC or Clempson... so be it.

Tennessee may need Ohio St-Michigan game to be a blowout by whoever wins it.
IF it goes to OT or is a close one score game, they may take both.
OR the simplest path is a TCU loss.
