I’m thinking Saban is about done

It was a helluva ride, but he’s clearly not the coach he was.
I suspected a change for the worse when he got political and tried talking Manchin into voting for the democrats’ bullshite voting reform legislation.
And the Aflac commercials opposite of Coach “Prime” with Saban yelling “stop that goat” don’t make me feel good either.
Bama will remain top 10 based on talent, but i have my doubts Saban can recapture the championship magic.

I think he is fine. Lets see how we adjust to the new oc next year

It is bound to happen sooner or later. And he’s obviously earned the right to go out on his own terms. But yeah, just something isnt there like it was in the past.

What makes you think we’ll have a new OC? Unless someone hires BOB away, he will be back.

Y’all need to chill. We will have a new OC and plenty of 5*’s coming in the next couple years.
ETA: Y’all underestimate BOB’s NFL pull. He’ll be back there soon enough.

I would be absolutely shocked if BOB is here next year. The agreement was two years, he is out

The old Saban wouldnt wait on a medicore coach to take a good job. He’d force him out even if it was for shitty job. Thats the difference

Saban isn't done.
I actually think we'll look better next year with Ty Simpson and a new OC.

I hope you’re right, but I’m losing faith.
There has been no player development from 2021-2022

He looks tired. I mean he is 70 so I understand. It’s a young man’s game.

We've had shitty OCs before. BoB is gone in a few weeks.

I don’t agree that he’s done, but he is too old to be able to make up for a bad staff. We currently have a bad staff.

Soft, Lazy, undisciplined, and poorly coached.

It’s been barely 11 months since playing a great UGA team (a team we had already beat by 17) with Golding and BoB for a national title. Two years removed from having maybe the best (top 3 at worst) team we’ve ever had… went 13-0, won every award, etc
Is this team one of the weaker teams under Saban? Yes. Despite that, we’re in position to play for another SEC championship, a spot in the CFB playoff and a national championship… with BoB and Pete Golding!
You can continue crying but Saban is NOT done.

I’m afraid at this point it’s more than just Bob. I think the whole staff needs an overhaul. So undisciplined this year.

It’s Saban he keeps them

BoB will be gone it was always for two years. What Saban does with Golding will show a lot whether he’s “done” or not imo. Unfortunately not feeling great about how it’s going to turn out.
