Deion
Tim Brewster TE – extremely qualified and very experienced
Brett Bartolone OC/QB (Air Raid type system) – Leach coaching tree – would either need a more balanced attack or would need to be replaced
Dennis Thurman DC – many years of NFL experience
Alan Ricard Special teams – could find a replacement but is probably qualified if he’s an important staff member
Gary Harrell Running backs – could find replacement but isn’t completely unqualified
Andre’ Hart Linebackers – most likely would need a replacement with SEC experience
Mike Markuson OL – brings many years of experience and was OL coach under Nutt at Arkansas
Kevin Mathis DBs – most likely would need replacement (possible analyst position at AU)
TC Taylor WR – most likely would need replacement (possible analyst position at AU)
Jeff Weeks DL – many years of NFL experience (may need a young analyst to work with him and meet recruits on campus)
Michael Pollock – Special Asst to the HC – many years coaching high school in Ga as an OC at Valdosta and Grayson high schools

I see no reason if Prime is a major target a worry of putting together a staff that could recruit/coach/develop players. There are few I would possibly like to see more experience from and could get more recognized names. However for the level Jackson St plays at Deion has put together an incredible staff.

Here's just another point from me that says Prime is the right guy at the right time for AU. Make it happen.

You left off the main position.

HC - Prime - Zero major head coaching experience or assistant experience in any form of P5 football (would likely need replacing after in a year or 2 if shown he can't defeat teams larger than high school level).

Jimbo is living proof that just recruiting at a high level doesn't always translate to winning in the SEC.

Auburn has a good running backs coach already. He needs to stay.

Kevin Mathis played many years in the NFL. The TE coach was Kyle Pitts TE coach at Florida

I am on the Lane Train but every day Prime is climbing closer to the top. Both are great choices. Any one is better than what we had. I am so amped up for AUBURN football right now.

Prime could bring his entire staff to Auburn and even if they were not on the field coaches he could hire them as analysts, etc and they would make more money than they are at JSU.

The deal breaker with prime will be that he will want to bring EVERYONE with him

I can't imagine any power 5 school is going to be okay with that.

I was told that Deion could put together an amazing staff, if hired. From the looks of that list......

You aren’t going to attract Power 5 level coaches to an HBCU to make SEC analyst pay either you moron. Those guys are probably making $50k MAYBE if even that at JSU.
Hell Sanders is only making $300k as the head coach.

So yes its very impressive who he lured to coach with him at JSU. Probably every coach on that list could be somewhere else making more.

He can bring them all on as analysts and they would probably make more than they are as on the field coaches at JSU.

I listed the coaches that would probably need to be replaced. All others are solid coaches. Some better than many we have had over the years. No coach is bringing in former head coaches at the P5 level at every coaching spot. That is an incredible staff for the money they are being paid.

There is a reason they are 19-2 over the past 2 years and it ain’t because Travis Hunter signed last recruiting cycle

It's silly to compare a small school staff to a power 5 staff.
The results of his staff at JSU speak for themselves.

I don't think the Jimbo example means what you think it does. He beat AUBURN in a national title game. Give me more proven HC candidates than that. Jimbo shows there's no sure thing when hiring head coaches.

Yeah, I know the reason. He has better talent due to the transfer portal, and their competition is pretty bad. Care to post the record of his opponents? He ran thru the SWAC last year, then got shellacked against South Carolina State. There's a reason why the FCS Coaches poll has 6 teams with losses, ranked higher than undefeated JSU.

Smoke and mirrors.

Sanders has had some initial success, but if he doesn't put players in the NFL, look for that success to wain

There are more OCs out there than Bobo. The guy he has seems like a good coach just I’m not a believer in a true Air Raid offense. You need a power run game in the sec to compliment it. But since he has been there they have been more balanced between run/pass ratio. However they have been up big in a lot of games so they needed to run the ball to run clock.
