Look at Michigan. Jim Harbaugh was sitting on a huge contract and went 6 years without a title or playoff appearance and their fans were just about ready to run him out of town, but he eventually delivered.

Patience is a virtue.

I agree. I think you should extend him for another 10 years. 100 wasn't. Enough. Give him 200 million

I wouldn’t be upset if he got a lifetime contract

Jimbo isn't that good of a HC. Good luck with him the rest of his contract with Texas A&M. He really did sell his soul to the devil to be a below average HC.

Do you really think Michigan will win a trophy with Harbaugh?

Maybe, but just maybe, y'all might win a national title in football.

But not in our lifetimes.

Insightful post, OP.

TAMU with Fisher is very, very close to becoming a juggernaut program! Multiple national championships on the horizon. The rest of the SEC (including those darn Sips) is well aware of this and are quite fearful.

The key now for all of the above to fall into place is staff continuity.

Extend Jimbo and his assistants for 10 more years. 5 star recruits will flock to College Station knowing a firm commitment to continuity is in place.

He's actually a great HC, just isn't a good OC anymore

I agree. He can recruit good just needs to hand over the keys of the offense to good OC.

Well, at least you guys got it right on your baseball coach. I think both our teams are gonna be in the thick of things this coming season.

He is a good head coach if you are ok with 8 or 9 wins
