Can anyone really blame Bo Nix for wanting to transfer away from Bryan Harsin?

Bo Nix during Oregon's five-game winning streak:

110/149 (73.8%) 1,353 passing yards 9.08 yards per attempt 12.3 yards per completion 12 TD 1 INT

32 carries 294 yards 9.2 yards per carry 8 TD 20 total touchdowns, one turnover, and one sack.
I can’t.

Dude was obviously our best QB on roster (BY FAR) and big reason Auburn was winning last year. He got a ton of unwarranted hate from the fanbase. Did what was best for him, transferred, won the starting job at Oregon and is now putting himself into solid draft position.

Obviously, it doesn’t help that he was coached by Gus Malzahn and Bryan Harsin here.

Yeah, yeah - the PAC isn’t the SEC. Their schedule is weaker and so are their defenses. Cool. Great players play in other conferences, too.

Glad he’s doing well out west.

I hope he wins the PAC POY, he knew better than us how far our talent had fallen.

He never was going to stay

There was nothing Harsin could have done to keep him.

He made the right choice for him and I understand it completely. He made a choice for his long term future just like any of us would have.

I was a Bo defender while he was here. I get why he left, glad he's having success. I hope he enjoys his time at Oregon, now and in the future.

Can we just let it go now?

What’s a little more pain?

I have to watch Auburn and Denver every weekend.

He’s having a good year at Oregon, but what do you mean by “solid draft position?”

I don’t think he is a top 100 pick.

Are you saying 4th round? 5th?

He will get to a camp, but I can’t see him as a sure fire NFL starter.

I don’t know that he will be a starter, but being drafted as a QB of the future (with years of backup experience) could happen. He will likely be viewed as an athletic QB project.

I was sick of him, but he was right for leaving. If he saw the writing on the wall like many of you did, he was smart.

No. The offensive line was only getting worse. After a season ending injury, he probably figured it was what he had to do.

Reasonable opinion.

He will be a possible third day pick(rounds 4-7).
I would guess 5th round.

I don't blame him for leaving, but let's not pretend that his improvement isn't the result of playing in a much weaker defensive conference.

Seriously? Chex actually went from Bo defender to claiming Bo’s reputation was tarnished forever.

1 week ban bet that he gets drafted earlier?
