Still not rooting for them.

Few will admit it, but the OP is correct. What makes the SEC the best conference in the nation is the fact it doesn’t have just one, two, or even three traditional powerhouses, it is that it has six:
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Tennessee
Those programs all have a national name and a tradition of being respected power programs. They’re what sets the SEC apart from all other conferences. When any of those programs are down, it’s not good for the overall prestige of the conference.

A&M never again. Have Texas coming in a little over a year from now. Think you dislike A&M fans now? Wait until Texas. Until one of the new comers win a SEC Championship or National Title I don’t want to hear schite.

That's like saying a strong Aggy is good for the SEC.
In theory, not in practice

Thinking the conference has been pretty good for the last 15 years that the Vols were absent.

You do realize that the last 20 years Tennessee has been shite, and that also coincides with the greatest 20 year run in the SEC's long and illustrious history, right?

Name me the last time Arkansas won the SEC Title. I’ll hang up and listen.

I, too, am rooting for Tennessee.

Who? You mean the same Arkansas that has been in the conference now for 30 years and the closest they’ve come to winning a conference championship was 16 years ago when they lost by 10 points? And their only other chance was 20 years ago and they lost by 27 points? The same Arkansas who last won a national championship five years before man first walked on the moon? That Arkansas?

Yet they haven't done shite since 1998, and meanwhile the SEC has been in an unprecedented Golden Age.
Edit: It's ok Tennessee fans, let your anger flow through the downvotes.
