Kentucky has the tradition of everyone standing together and singing "My Old Kentucky Home"
Stephen Foster was a Yankee and wrote the song for commercial purposes. He was writing for a market that paid well for black minstrel songs. He also wrote the State song of Florida.

So Foster had a thing for homosexual black men?

Me too. They should be referred to as "little sister". They went through a gender change after the Great Dildo Parade in 2016. There are also more women enrolled than men.

Oh my god, who the frick cares??? News flash: people in the past thought differently than we did. That doesn't mean we have to dispose of everything they did. We can accept the good and abhor the bad at the same time.
Plus, isn't it funny how these morons only want to get rid of stuff that doesn't affect them? I don't see anyone pushing to eliminate automobiles because Henry Ford was a raging antisemite.

I missed all this shite.
That’s it?? That’s why these racebaiters are calling it “racial”? What the frick.

Don’t worry, we will be making the rules when we arrive. You will all have two bands, and they will both be put in the upper deck because who gives a shite about the band.
Good job, Birmingham.

They're the same clowns who want drag shows everywhere, including in your schools for your children.
What's a drag show?
It's a minstrel show about women performed by male queers.

So, Texas literally IS a minstrel show?

No, because there are plenty of so-called "experts" out there who are clearly either cleverly-disguised morons or poorly-disguised shills. What we are seeing now is what is called "mob rule." The same thing happened during the French Revolution - decisions were made because there were large groups of people going around shouting about how angry they were and demanding whatever they wanted right that minute. The difference - and it is a sad difference - is that in the French Revolution, these groups were literal mobs who posed an actual mortal threat to those in power, and who could and did kill those people in power if they were not given what they wanted. Today, these mobs are virtual, and the only thing they can do if they don't get what they want is continue virtually shouting. But corporations, institutions, and the government nonetheless fall all over themselves to give them whatever they want.

Separate but equal, but when conservatives suggested this was going to be the eventual outcome, they were labeled as haters lol. You can’t make this shite up if you tried

Well, this is all true to an extent. Here’s the even bigger difference. The impoverished people in France were literally dying of starvation so they did what they thought they had to do to make significant societal changes and help feed their families.
The government AND corporations are kowtowing to the woke mobs for no other reason than to save their own skin. Nothin else. Not out of any deep feeling of commonality or purpose

Then again - you are the poster that has all of these dildo photos saved on his computer/phone. Seems... telling (not that there's anything wrong with that )

Who don’t want to play the song with a deeply entrenched history of racism
.aggy has no problem celebrating their history of racism, they have and pay homage to a statue of Sul Ross the “gallivant negro killer”, president of texas a/m in the late 1800’s
Ross’ motivations were clearly summed up in a 1920s-era biography of Ross written by his daughter, Elizabeth “Bessie” R. Clarke.
Clarke states unequivocally that Lawrence Sullivan Ross’ military actions were driven by one ambition — to establish the supremacy of the white man. Hence, it is from his own direct flesh and blood that we know Lawrence Sullivan Ross killed people of color because he was a white supremacist.
