So I agree no insiders, but different pieces of information.
1) everyone thought we had Lane, found out Friday night late that was not the case. Not sure we blame Cohen, more likely LK changes his mind. I do believe buyout terms were an issue. Also he did not take well to the suggestion to keep Carnell.
2) We have had one day and the pay sites all said HF. The blowback was real
3) Cohen spent yesterday speaking with other
candidates. We do not know who the coaches are or their level of interest
4) Hugh may still be hired, but not today.
5) reminds me of the #stopsteele and we got Harsin
6) I think we should go after Fickell (my number 1 choice). He understands big time football and has no baggage. Make him say No.

If we hire a Grimes or Brian Johnson type and Deion goes to Colorado we will probably get turned down by Deion in 3 years when we are looking for a new coach but Colorado gives him a raise.
