I just went to peek at Ole Miss' NIL collective because OM Twitter is in a frenzy over some membership drive. They have abgoal to get 5000 members by December. They're like 900 shy.
But my thing is, that sounds awfully low. Idk what OTV member numbers look like, but I saw a while back that we hit the $10 million goal in a little over a month. At that rate, it seems like it may be closing in on the $30mil in 3 years goal they set at the beginning. I'm not sure what Ole Miss subscription packages look like, but say it's similar to OTV and they have 5000 subs at $35. That's only $175k.
Are they genuinely excited about that? If so, that's really sad.

Cracks me up they fail to see the irony in the argument, even if they're too blind to see the objective truth (that AU is a better program).
By their account, Kiffin made them the better program - that's Kiffin, not Ole Miss. Thus, Kiffin will make us the better program and he'll get more money.

Think I heard that OTV has already surpassed $15mm in like three months.
I dont know who the watchdogs of NIL collectives are or how they monitor it across the country, but the story seems to be OTV has become one of the biggest NIL collective in the Country - whether that's due to pure $ or the structure, I have no idea.

I won’t hold that against Dabo. He had a pretty rough childhood, and his dad was a POS alcoholic that pretty much abandoned them.

Don't love this information coming out of the OM mod like that. Never seems like these things happen the way they are expected to. Don't really want to hear any more about Kiffin until its announced from the Auburn AD.

Isn't he the one that worked inside the athletic dept. or had a family member who did? I know he use to be pretty deadly with his inside stuff.

Only thing I remember about that au student guy is he guaranteed Justin Fields was going to sign with Auburn because “he is all Auburn” and we see how that turned out.
I think he had some relationships with players/staff but I’m not so sure how much of an “insider” he is. He has claimed before he has family that are high level boosters.
