"Nobody gave us a chance in this game. ... None of you, no one in the national media," Sarkisian said
20 point favorite, huh? "Lucky" to get a 1 point win.
quote:

Texas never shows up...leaves early...DKR as quiet as a church... worst fans in football ...toxic environment ... why would anybody want to play there...Ewers is a joke...over rated... SEC is a line of scrimmage league...Texas can't compete ... Texas players couldn't start in the SEC...and on and on and on ...
quote:

Texas, which is scheduled to join the Southeastern Conference ahead of the 2025 season, drew a record crowd of 105,213 to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

The Tide was all out of sorts. Eleven first-half penalties and dropped passes showed a level of sloppy play seldom seen by Saban teams.

Last season's Bronko Nagurski Award winner Will Anderson struggled to make plays against an inexperienced Texas offensive line that started two freshmen. Anderson was impressed by a crowd that hampered Alabama signal calls at the line of scrimmage all game.

This is probably like the loudest environment I've played in. the hardest game, since I've been in college football.[/i]" Anderson said. "Super loud, a lot of energy."

My favorite pic of the day. I know the kid is from Texas, ... wearing Alabama colors, grandpa? decked out in Crimson, parents in neutral black. Admirable kid, watched and learned, no complaining, even after sitting in the heat & the sun for 4 hours.

Him, and his parents stayed for The Eyes of Texas, as did most everybody in the house. Little guy had seen the "Hook 'Em Horns" all day, and was looking around to make sure he did it right.

He did. (I'm not showing his face.)

... we were wrong ...

Isn't it awesome how you can look over to College Station and see what it means for a program to go toe-to-toe with Alabama? Good luck.

Bama played like shite. Committed tons of costly penalties, and still beat y'all on the road.

And you're here bragging... about what, exactly?

Lord. At least Aggies are accepting their loss with a big slice of humble pie and a modicum of dignity.

Here’s your “We Beat The Spread” trophy.

You guys are like Dook fans, show up for the big game on TV. Limp dick when the TV is off. Now take SC, they can be dog feces for the year playing some team nobody wants to see and they show up and rock the place.

If I had nickel for all the times I got excited because Ole Miss almost beat Bama, and the crushing reality of the rest of the season in the SEC.

Get used to it Longhorns, they’ve been doing it to the rest of us for a century.
