They’re an average team but much better than anyone we’ve played. I imagine we’ll get up for them and the crowd will be in it. Could go either way.

They have a solid come from behind win against a solid Purdue team. What I don't like is that we haven't been tested by anyone real yet.

Our only advantage now is we have played very vanilla on offense and defense to this point. Hope we have some more blitzing and deep passing routes.

Sat through every second of that God forsaken game because I rode with my roommate and he wouldn't leave. Even sat there for like 10 minutes after the damn game ended.

For all of us who weren’t born this century it will probably feel a lot like the 2003 USC game.
not even remotely similar

Dude they don’t have anyone close to Matt Leinart or Reggie Bush caliber. That team went on to win the AP National Championship. Penn State is a 7-5/8-4 type of team.

Did you watch the game today? Auburn High school would look like USC against this crap I just watched.

. I was surprised he played so much better the next year

It was like a light switched for him, I think some of it had to do with the talent behind him.

He didn’t have the pressure to win games, just turn around and hand the ball to 2 future NFL RBs.

Or throw a jump ball to Mike Williams.

There’s an outside chance that Harsin’s MO is to overlook the hell out of one team a year for a big game…so maybe not super ugly. We bounced back last year after Ga St to win in Red Stick first time in forever…can only hope we bounce back this year.

We sucked it up with JC at the helm.

I don’t think this is fair.

Tubbs talked all week about the heat and how the running game would be the difference. Then he shows up and goes all air raid and tries passing on about every down.

Was it Ensminger who was OC at the time?

ESPN RPI shows us favored only over WKU (75%). and TAMU (53.4 %). That is how ugly yesterday was.

Is this the same ESPN that gave UCF a 78.something% chance to beat Louisville?

That RPI crap is just that.

They call that a moment of reflection. I did it at the Texas AM game in 2012

I assume by your name that you graduated in 2005. If that is true, you were privy to some of the best and worst of Auburn football.

People are bitching about our O. Rightfully so regarding the first half. I have seen very few bitching about our pass D. It has been atrocious. The middle of the field is ripe for the taking. Our DB's rarely turn to look for the ball. They wait for the receiver to catch it and try to knock it away. Eerily similar to the Leaky Roof.

I think most of us are so use to our defensive secondary being bad, its just normal.

When they started throwing that slant pass last night, I started having flashbacks

What’s frustrating is it seems like secondary is all we have recruited the last three to four years. You would hope that would be a strength. We have serious coaching issues but everyone wants to rationalize bad play and bad coaching and make excuses.

Just looking at it from someone who doesnt know shite about playing football, coaching DB and playing DB must be very difficult. If you look at college football over the years, no team just excels at it. Even Alabama who gets great DB recruits has issues. It it is very difficult position to play and to coach

Every single game you watch has DB's who wont get their head turned around and get called for PI.
