Looking like the top 2 safeties, Catalon and Slusher, will be out though nothing official has been said.

Bad news. Arkansas secondary looked godawful Saturday.

Good thing Rattler sucks just as hard.

It will be interesting to see how much some of those open looks were by design to a certain extent considering the QB they were playing. I'm guessing Odom will force Rattler to take the dump off passes and beat us slowly.

Rattler is still an upgrade over anything we had last season, but now our offensive line is even worse. Rattler already has a tendency to roll out of the pocket even with good protection too… not saying that’s a good thing but with this line maybe it is.

Whoever said that was just making assumptions, don't think anyone really has a solid idea except maybe Cat and some of the coaches.

We had our usual horrible luck and lost players in the one spot of the defense we couldn't afford to lose them. Because of course we did. If Arkansas makes the national title game this year expect 75% of the team to die of the Bubonic Plague the week before the game.

We are obviously going to have to make some adjustments. I expect to see a lot more zone coverage. Arkansas looked great on defense in the first half, it wasn't until we lost those players that things fell into the wood chipper. So we are probably going to go into a defensive shell for the next game or two and get people healthy.

The big question is can South Carolina take advantage?

Well, that's what Barry Odom does. The shell. I think Beamer would be happy taking what the defense gives and staying patient in going the long way. They seem unable to get their yards in bunches anyway.

I dunno. Georgia State had 3 sacks, 6 QB hurries, and 7 TFLs last week against USCar. Rattler ended with -12 yards rushing. As a team Carolina only rushed for 79 yards.

I’d expect Odom to come after that OL early and frequently off the edge and in the middle.

Ya think??? Gee wonder why. For having such a good team the average bama fan has a very low football IQ

Still unclear but speculation is the slush will be out this week In concussion protocol .

Catalon I’ve heard broken wrist, gonna club it and he will play. I’ve heard separated shoulder and good to go. I’ve heard tear and out 4-5 weeks.

All speculation at this point but I’d be surprised if either play. Luckily safety was the one spot we had depth.

I was watching yall's game and noticed the announcers said something like y'all barely ever blitz. Is that true? If so, that'll play into our hands because the second our OL sees an extra defender, we decide to immediately let everyone through at record speed

We didn’t last year. But we were very aggressive against cinci and I think it hurt us. Expect more drop zone with 7/8 in coverage

PayPal,

I hope this is true or it'll just be for a few weeks but no longer.

Doesn't bode well. Noticed Odom was sending a lot more pressure than usual, which tells me he doesn't like his DL as much as previous years.
