I leave youtube on in the background sometimes and I just so happened to catch this little gem. Arkansas defeats Texas 40-21 and illuminates the Horns Down on their scoreboard as they storm the field.

Arkansas is a well coached hard playing team. Just wish their fan base could be as classy as their team.

Unwashed hillbillies who derive their sense of self worth not through themselves but through a school that doesnt think about them 1/20th that amount. We are bigger than their own school in their own fan's minds. It's pathetic, and we won't respect them or have a real rivalry until their fans get over their massive inferiority complex.
It really comes down to dignity. Arkansas demeans itself both by their lesser instincts and by behaving like A&M. At least A&M is our in state little brother and at the end of the day our fellow Texans and neighbors.
We view Arkansas the way they are. Poor, scantly educated hilljacks who culturally celebrate white trash behavior and are even looked down upon by other relatively poor areas.

Arky Texas was the #2 rivalry for UT behind OU from the 60's until the 90's. A visit to Fayettenam for any Texas fan was brave enough.

Despite their fans embarrassing behavior towards Texas fans, I actually like Arkansas. Athletic program thats punching way up and Fayetteville is a great looking part of the country. They just need to get over the inferiority complex with us, the amount of butthurt is bizarre.
