A simple yes or no will suffice

To be honest I forgot that shite even happened.

No. No one is getting the death penalty.

Likely will be a similar punishment that Mizzou got a few years ago, or what LSU got in March. Both Level 1 violations.

nothing will happen. university acted in good faith and fired proot. hard to see any actual consequences for any team from here on out. it's open season.

It’s had a self-inflicted death penalty for like 15 years now. What could the NCAA possibly do to make it worse?

Feels like that happened about a decade ago.

Nobody will get the death penalty again. SMU showed that it’s too severe.

No, but they very well could receive bowl bans and scholly reductions, etc.

Tennessee was so poor the HC's wife had to pay players.

You can't make this shite up.

Well, they've experienced something like a prolonged death penalty since 2007. So there's that.

They won't. They certainly deserve it as a program as a whole. See how their baseball team acts and their fans act -- they don't deserve a program.

However, I guess the NCAA feels bad for Tennessee having 9 losing seasons since 2005.

The majority of the punishment will be directed towards the staff. Pruitt will likely get a very lengthy show cause for example.

I don’t want to see it but it’s really the only appropriate punishment

You can’t kill something that’s already dead.

I thought Saban going to Alabama was Tennessee’s death penalty.
