1) We were coming off Butch Jones. We didn't need another buzzcut northerner douchebag coming in calling the shots when one had just led us to nationwide embarrassment time and time again. Fan support would have been at an all time low before Greg ever started. Would have been DOA had he come here.
1b) He was also involved in a pedo scandal. Regardless of the level of his involvement, being associated with one of those is not a good look. And opposing fanbases would have absolutely taken that and ran.
2) Since returning to Rutgers, Greg has gone 3-6 and 5-8. (Edited)
