Yeah Clay Travis may have money but built on selling his immortal soul for clickbait hits, is it worth it at the end of the day?

Yes his wife was a cheerleader, which you sleep with and get rid of. Marrying a cheerleader and lots of jockey have ridden that horse.

2) Since returning to Rutgers, Greg has gone 3-6 and 5-8. (Edited)

Did you know Rutgers isn't anywhere near as a football program? Greg is going to try to make it happen though and it will take time. If he was @ Tennessee, he would have turned it around a lot quicker than what you have now. He is a lot better than what you thin. You also got to factor the recruiting disadvantage since Rutgers isn't ready yet to compete with the big boys. Give him time to get the facilities and better recruits. Tennessee is a much easier job to turn it around than Rutgers by a mile.

We were coming off Butch Jones. We didn't need another buzzcut northerner douchebag coming in calling the shots when one had just led us to nationwide embarrassment time and time again.

Champions of Life thing was pretty cringe but outside of that how was he any more embarrassing than Dooley or Kiffin bailing after one 7-6 year? At least he won 9 games for yall twice. Better than anyone this side of Fat Phil has done for you guys.

He literally had the worst season in Tennessee football history after losing the players off of two gift wrapped recruiting classes. 2016 he was home free for a 10 win season and lost to South Carolina and Vanderbilt, squandered 3 4th quarter leads in 2015. The man was a charlatan, the only things of note he ever did was beat Florida and beat Spurrier. Sounds great until you look at the ways he lost to Florida(not even good Florida teams. Dogshit Florida teams).

Go watch the 2017 UMass game and tell me that was an SEC caliber coach.

Anyone who just looks at his record and says he is a good coach conveniently forgets his fifth season. And how he couldn’t get a coaching job for 3 years after UT.

And not to mention the press conferences where he would get up there repeating the same robotic phrases after inexplicable losses but he still acted like he was in the right and anyone who questioned him had their press pass revoked. And the whole covering up the rape scandal thing. You could write a book on his ineptitude.

If he hadn’t fallen arse backwards into starting Josh Dobbs, Butch Jones doesn’t last 3 years. He’s awful.

I never said he shouldn't have been fired or anything. I just see him get a lot more shite than Dooley which I find weird because Dooley actually had a losing record in his tenure.

Dooley gets shite on, but it's been almost 10 years and as bad as Tennessee was then, it wasn't a nail in coffin thing. If Tennessee hires a proven guy, or even a retread, with the instate talent for 2014 and 2015 being largely highly touted guys, the results would be the same. There were decent coordinators kicking around, Kingsbury could have been had if they had paid the money, honestly Leach was there for the taking, hell Mack Brown wasn't doing anything then. But they fell for the Big East coaching trap that's gotten so many people before and since. Brian Kelly, Kevin Sumlin(only temporarily, and only with the resources at A&M) and Bobby Petrino are the only two from the post Miami VT Big East era that have been successful in the P5. Rodriguez, Strong, Jones, Taggart, Norvell, Fuente, Frost, Herman all failed, although I think Herman might still be a half decent coach, just weird as frick.

You could sum it up in a sentence or three if you had half a brain.

Or maybe don’t.

You indeed found someone who knows what happened as opposed to someone who imagines what happened from a fricked up fantasy point of view.

Imagine thinking a talking head universally known for taking credit for things he had nothing to do with and/or things he spouted AFTER they were already popular had something to do with a university he only recently jumped ship to's hiring decisions.

The only reason Clay Travis isn't still sucking off Vandy is because Franklin left.

Vols already self imposed the scholarship limits last year, and did a complete overhaul of the staff and support staff. Minimum impact moving forward.
