Here are the 7 SEC schools on ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25

Here’s who made it from the SEC, and where they ranked:
No. 1 Alabama
No. 3 Georgia
No. 5 Texas A&M
No. 20 Arkansas
No. 21 Ole Miss
No. 23 Kentucky
No. 24 Tennessee
I thought LSU fired Orgeron because he was a bad HC. Now with Kelly as the new HC he couldn't get any love from this site to be ranked. Kelly did very well with the transfer portal, but the committee still do not think LSU is that good maybe due to Brian Kelly not being as good as LSU think he is as a top 10 HC. I also look at Notre Dame and the new HC has no experience, and he has his team ranked! How could this new HC with zero experience get his team to be ranked from the vote of this committee? Doesn't LSU still have top 20 talents on the roster? What is going on here? Does anyone have an answer to this?

It will take 5 years to get the talents needed for the coach to get the talents to make the talents want to come and be the talents needed to be the talents needed.

You need to relax. This is about LSU needed to take one of Missouri top player and LSU never did anything like that until Kelly became the new HC of LSU. Roster does matter. Missouri and Drinkwitz still have ways to go. It will be a slow but steady climb to get there. Not like top football program like LSU! Got to give Drinkwitz time. Drinkwitz isn't going to turn the football program around with lesser talents! He needs more time to recruit more 4* and 5* talents to compete with the rest of the SEC. LSU already has the talents and there should be no excuses for not be ranked at this time with all those talents LSU have. That is the fault of Kelly and LSU! Missouri still about 2 years away to compete. 4* and 5* talents are coming in but not enough to fill up all the key spots. Also, will need good backups and depth. This past year was Drinkwitz first time to get 7 4* and 1 5* talents. He is going to need to keep doing that the next 2 years and that shall be good enough to challenge against most SEC teams. I am perfectly for him doing it the right way rather try to get most from transfer portal like LSU and Arkansas did that really helped them big time. But there are no excuses for the committee to say that isn't going to work for Kelly and LSU to be deserving to be ranked at this time. Good luck to your football team and your team is rightfully deserved to be ranked at this time.

A&M starting off that high has been a harbinger of a 9-3, 8-4 type season.
LSU will probably finish 10-20 range.
Only one of UK and UTK will be ranked by the end, if one at all.

I'm fine with not being ranked, make them earn it.

The problem is you think you are smarter than any experts! Why aren't you making millions on betting if you know who is going to be ranked and who will not be ranked at the end of the year.

Everyone is basically ranking Texas A&M so highly because of one recruiting class. They’re still freshman. That’s why all these preseason rankings are all hype. We will be a solid team but with this many question marks going into fall camp, especially at QB, I don’t see how you put us #6.

It seems like it. Wingo wasn’t even a full time starter either. It sucked losing him but we hit the portal and got two very good replacements for him.

Our schedule is pretty easy the first half of the season
