Think phillips ends up at UT or gonzaga. Tbh tho i wouldve steered clear of both of them given Wade's methods .

Y.Traore cb'd to Auburn by TTU writer (247) today. I am not sure about Phillips. It seems like he likes the idea of going to the G League. We really need some big NIL offer here. Jabari has this major Under Armour NIL deal, maybe we could work sth out.

If you're recruiting high level players in basketball there's money going around, there's pretty much no way around it.
Oats is not getting only the honest 4 and 5 stars.
If you're UK, Kansas, UNC and Duke you just get away with it, unfortunately for many other schools, you can get your hand caught in the cookie jar.

I'm sure we do the same thing that your average big time program does, but he's not signing players because they like Alabama football. He's signing guys like Josh Primo, Brandon Miller and Jaden Bradley because they want to play in an up-tempo offensive system that prioritizes what our system prioritizes.
Alabama football was elite from 2011-2017, too. Avery and Grant never signed elite players from outside of Alabama/Georgia. Oats has already signed 4-5 of them (Primo/Bediako from Canada; Miller from Nashville; Bradley from New York via IMG; Tchikou from Arizona). There is a reason for that.
